Release Notes

All results now return "Company Name" as the first column. If a company name is not available for a particular domain, that column will return an empty string.

For the Get Surge Report Results endpoint, we have solved an issue which caused large files to stream slowly. We have moved our API to a different server, and response time on streaming should be improved.

We've created a new endpoint that combines the functionality of several previous endpoints. The previous endpoints will continue to work. 



The new endpoint provides the option to:
1) request by supplying domains or by supplying topics 
2) filter by industry or company size (if supplying topics) 
3) include metros and zips
4) output comprehensive or summary reports
  • Summary reports provide general information including company name, domain, company size, industry, surge score, and topic counts
  • Comprehensive reports provide more detailed information including company name, domain, company size, industry, surge score, metro area, metro area surge score, and country
 
5) return results in either CSV or JSON format.

Endpoint Deprecation

The following endpoints have been deprecated:

Get Surging Organizations for Topic, Get Surging Topics for Organization, Get Surging Metro Areas for Organization

What this means:

You can still continue to use any of the deprecated endpoints if necessary. However, Bombora recommends using the Create Surge Report endpoint for all future development. This endpoint combines features found in the older deprecated endpoints, along with additional options for customization.
